Opening the future at the end of the world
We are pleased to announce that the Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI) is now accepting applications for the Arctic Science Fellowship Program 2020.
Initiated in 2018, the KOPRI Arctic Science Fellowship Program aims to promote research collaboration in the Arctic and provide future generation scientists with networking and research opportunities. The participants will be provided with a round-trip airfare, moderate living expenses, and accommodation within the KOPRI facilities for a period up to 3 months.
The fellowship is open to early career scientists from Arctic countries and researchers who are of Arctic indigenous heritage. To be eligible for ECS, the applicant should be either currently enrolled in a master or doctoral program or within 5 years of finishing their master or doctoral degree. The applicant should also be from an Arctic country, i.e. Canada, Denmark (Including Greenland and the Faroe Islands), Finland, Iceland, Norway, Russia, Sweden and the United States.
